The administration, faculty, and staff of Midland College would like to welcome you to campus housing. The students living on campus are an interesting and diverse group. To ensure a comfortable living environment – one that is beneficial to your academic success, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the following Midland College Campus Housing Regulations.
How do I apply for housing?
Complete the Residence Life Application.How many hours are required to be eligible for housing?
Student are required to be enrolled in 9 credit hours during a long semester of 6 credit hours in each 8 week term. A resident who does not meet this requirement can request an exemption from the Director of Residence Life.
What is the cost for housing?
The cost for housing for the 2023/2024 semester is $3148.50 for double occupancy.What’s included in the cost of housing?
Internet/WiFi, All Utilities, Laundry, Meal Plan (19 meals per week fall/spring, 8 meals per week summer).
How to I pay for housing?
Pay full amount or set-up a payment plan online in My MC Portal. For information on how to set-up a payment plan, visit the Pay Your Bill page. For further assistance on paying for housing, contact the Cashier’s Office at (432) 685-4531 or cashier@midland.edu.
Will financial aid help pay for housing?
Yes, financial aid and/or scholarships can assist in paying for housing. Please remember that all financial aid and scholarships will pay for academics first and if any money is left over, it will be applied to your housing balance.
What do I need to bring/not bring when I move in?

Yes, you may pick your own roommate. If you have a roommate request, both parties must complete the housing application and select the same residence hall. Once completed, both parties need to email housing@midland.edu and request each other as roommates. We will try to best to match you together.
Can I schedule a tour of the residence halls?
Yes, email us at housing@midland.edu to schedule a tour of the residence halls. To request a tour of our entire campus, visit the Campus Tours page and submit a request.
Are there no more single occupancy rooms?
Midland College no longer provides single occupancy rooms due to ongoing construction projects to upgrade the residence halls.
Are the Residence Halls staffed 24 hours/day, 7 days/week?Yes! Each residence hall has a live-in Residence Hall Manager and on-call staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
